Acceptable Use Policy
DRAFT (v1.0-draft) — pending legal review.
Effective date: 26 June 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is part of your Terms of Service with Scinova Group LLP. It describes what you may and may not do with ReadNTag (the "Service").
You agree NOT to:
- Upload, store or share content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes copyright,
trademark, patent, trade-secret, privacy or other rights. You are responsible for ensuring you may legally upload each document (see Copyright & Takedown).
- Use the Service to systematically download, scrape, redistribute or resell publisher content in
violation of the publisher's terms or applicable law.
- Upload malware, or content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or sexually exploitative.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other users' accounts or data, or our
infrastructure; probe, scan or test our security without permission.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service — for example via excessive automated requests, denial-of-
service, or circumventing rate limits, quotas or access controls.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile or copy the Service except to the limited extent the law permits.
- Misrepresent your identity, impersonate others, or use the Service to send spam.
- Use the browser extension to fetch files from systems you are not authorised to access, or to bypass
paywalls or authentication you are not entitled to use.
Fair use of resources
The Service may apply reasonable storage, file-size, rate and usage limits to keep it stable for everyone. We may contact you, throttle, or suspend usage that is abusive or that materially degrades the Service for others.
Enforcement
We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this AUP, with or without notice depending on severity, and we may report unlawful activity to authorities.
