This Cookie Notice explains the cookies and similar local-storage technologies ReadNTag uses. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

What we use

• Strictly-necessary cookies — a single signed session cookie keeps you logged in after you sign

in. The Service does not work without it. This is set only after you authenticate.

• Local storage (your browser) — we store your interface preferences (theme, font size, reader

layout, saved searches, the dismissed-state of notices). This stays in your browser and is not sent to our servers.

• Browser extension storage — if you install the extension, it stores your backend URL and access

token on your device only (see the Privacy Policy).

What we do NOT use (today)

We do not currently use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics. If we add analytics in future, we will update this Notice and ask for consent where required.

Managing cookies

You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Removing the session cookie will sign you out. Because we only use strictly-necessary cookies, there is no analytics to opt out of at this time.
