ReadNTag for Word
Write with your ReadNTag library beside you. Insert citations and a live bibliography, quote your tagged highlights with automatic page numbers, and browse your papers and topics without leaving Word.
Get started
- Create a free ReadNTag account (or sign in if you already have one).
- Install the ReadNTag add-in for Word from Microsoft AppSource, or from the Insert → Add-ins menu in Word.
- Open the ReadNTag pane from the Home tab in Word, then click Connect with ReadNTag to link the pane to your library.
- Search your library, insert a citation, and a live bibliography builds itself as you write.
What you can do
- Insert citations from one or more papers and keep a bibliography that updates as you cite, delete, or restyle.
- Choose from about 2,800 citation styles; the whole document re-renders when you switch.
- Quote your own highlights as text with the citation and page number filled in automatically.
- Open the full ReadNTag PDF reader beside the document and pick highlights straight from it.
- Filter your library by topics, projects, and highlight tags while you write.
Sign out
To disconnect the add-in, open the pane, click the Settings gear, and choose Sign out / Disconnect. This clears the access key from the pane. You can connect again any time.
