Research metadata & discovery

We surface papers in your fields using open scholarly metadata, and always link out to the publisher's version of record. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or promoted by any of these providers. We use their open data and credit them here.

• CrossrefOpen metadata

  The home discovery feed (recent papers in your fields), DOI metadata for papers you add, and version relations (linking a preprint to its published version). We use Crossref's open, non-profit metadata registry and link out to the publisher; we never republish full text.

• bioRxivPublic preprint metadata

  When you add a bioRxiv subject collection to a home-feed view, we show recent preprint titles, authors, and dates from that collection and link out to the preprint by DOI. We use bioRxiv's free, public preprint metadata and never store or republish abstracts or full text. bioRxiv is operated by Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. ReadNTag is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or promoted by bioRxiv or Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.

  Citation counts, open-access status enrichment, and canonical work resolution (recognizing that a preprint and its published version are the same paper).

  Biomedical literature lookups.

  Resolving author profiles and identifiers.

• Google ScholarLink-out only

  A convenience link from an author's profile panel that opens a Google Scholar search in a new tab. We use no Google Scholar API or data; the link only helps you look an author up. ReadNTag is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or promoted by Google Scholar.

• arXivMetadata CC0

  Metadata for preprints you add by arXiv id, and links to the arXiv abstract page. Operated by Cornell Tech; we link out and never republish full text.

Open-access full text

When a free, legal copy of a paper exists, we help you find it. We never republish full text ourselves.

Community contributions

Some content is contributed by our members or curated from public sources. Each listing links out to the official organizer's page. We don't republish their content, and we are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the organizers.

• Conference & opportunity listingsCommunity-submitted & curated

  Conferences, jobs, and grants are submitted by the community (any signed-in member can add one) and reviewed by our team before publishing, plus a few curated by ReadNTag from public organizer pages. We link out to the official organizer's page. Thanks to everyone who shares opportunities.

• WikiCFPData CC BY-SA 3.0 (attribution + share-alike)

  When enabled, we draw upcoming conference listings (titles, dates, locations, deadlines) from WikiCFP's public per-category feed to help our team find events to review. Every item is reviewed by our team before it appears, and we link out to the listing; we never republish WikiCFP's content. ReadNTag is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or promoted by WikiCFP.
