This Disclaimer supplements, and is incorporated into, the Terms of Service between you and Scinova Group LLP.

"As is" service

ReadNTag (the "Service") is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

No professional or academic advice

The Service helps you organise research; it does not provide legal, medical, financial, academic or other professional advice. Bibliographic metadata and enrichment (citation counts, open-access status, retraction flags, related works) come from third parties and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Always verify against the original source before relying on it.

Your data

You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of important content. While we apply reasonable security and backups, we are not liable for loss of, or damage to, your data. Use the "Export my data" feature to keep your own backups.

Third-party content & links

The Service may fetch or link to third-party content (publisher pages, open-access PDFs, scholarly APIs). We do not control and are not responsible for that content or those services.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scinova Group LLP and its partners, officers, employees and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to the Service — even if advised of the possibility. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) SGD 100.

Exceptions

Nothing in this Disclaimer or the Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the law of Singapore (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
